Stay True to Your Vision
A few years ago, one of our tenants decided to venture into car importation even though that was not his area of specialty. He collected upfront payment from a particular client on a specific car model. By the time the car arrived, it was completely different from what the client had ordered. He ended up in police custody for days and suffered huge losses over this particular transaction. If he had the required experience and knowledge of importation, maybe things would have turned out differently for him. You cannot be a jack of all trades and master of none.
Four guidelines to help you maintain your vision
- Have a vision board or a well-written out vision. Place it in a visible or easily accessible position.
- Check it regularly to be sure that you are still on track in your pursuit.
- Train and update yourself regularly in this area.
- Do extensive research and most importantly, pray for Godly guidance before diversifying or making any investment in an area that is outside your specialty. This will ensure that you don’t get dubbed or suffer avoidable losses.
Stay blessed and keep achieving.
