CONSISTENCY AS A TOOL FOR EXCELLENCE
To be consistent means to be persistent.
Even the best plans will fail without a dedication to consistency. A consistent person initiates a process and follows through.
Benefits of being consistent.
1. Consistency leads to relevance: When you keep at what you are pursuing, you become a sought-after person in that area, you become relevant. A consistent person who does not lose focus is an achiever in the making. The reward of consistency is your prize.
2. Consistency helps you to access what works and what isn’t working: How can one tell that a process is working out if they are not consistently pursuing that process. To know what works, you have to be consistent at what you do.
3. Consistency gives you a good reputation: A consistent person automatically gains a good reputation.
4. Consistency maintains your message: When you keep at a thing for a long time, people automatically know you for what you stand for.
5. Consistency creates accountability.
You can only know the true value of a thing if you keep at it.
Excellence in anything is achieved through consistency.
