The Birth Of Jesus Christ, Our Ticket To Salvation
Because of the fall of man, all human beings need a Saviour. This Saviour is our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
The bible says in Mathew 1: 23-24
And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who would save His people from their sins.
Jesus Christ is God’s only plan of eternal salvation for the entire world.
To have salvation means to be delivered and liberated from the powers and effects of sin.
Salvation grants us deliverance from the consequences of sins and God’s wrath.
God sent His Son to be born so we can be rescued from sin and its consequences.
This shows that Jesus is our only ticket to salvation, 1Tim 1: 15 makes it clear that Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
In Acts 16:30, a jailer asks a very important question, Sirs what must I do to be saved, the apostles pointed him towards Jesus as the only means by which men will be saved.
Jesus had to be born to act as a mediator between God and man.
Salvation became attainable when Jesus was born through the virgin Mary. John 14:6 says And Jesus answered I am the way, the truth, and the light, no one comes to the Father except through me.
Action Steps To Receive Salvation;
Believe in Jesus Christ. John 3:16
You have to trust fully in Jesus Christ and have faith in Him, the bible says that God saved us by grace when we believed.
Accept Him into your life as your Lord and Personal Saviour
Admit that you are a sinner and stay away from your sins.
Commit to follow Jesus and let Him shape your life.
Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus I know I am a sinner, Lord have mercy and by virtue of your birth bring salvation and deliverance to my soul.
Help me to walk in your path and do your will in Jesus name, Amen.
