The Birth Of Jesus Grants Us Joy!
These lines of the famous Christmas song “ Joy to the word, the Lord is come” is no cliche at all.
Unknown to mankind that its true joy was wrapped in the birth of the Saviour!
From the revealing of the sign that he would be born…
Matthew 2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
To the announcement by the angels…
Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
The little child wrapped in swaddling clothes will be the hope of mankind.
The Joy bringer.
Joy is not a fleeting feeling, it’s not circumstantial. It’s a perpetual state of rejoicing based on the salvation we have received by reason of Jesus’ birth.
The plan of salvation began with the incarnation and a denying of this holy birth will be a denying of the facts of the gospel.
The knowledge of the gospel and all it guarantees for us elicits a rejoicing. Joy is a fruit of our born-again spirit.
When we received Jesus, we received joy.
In this season and beyond, we must make a practice of joy.
Jesus is born, joy is here!

- Decide to be joyful, keep a merry heart. Focus on what God has done for you. Show gratitude by being joyful.
Prayer
- Lord, as I step into my day, guide my feet into unspeakable joy in Jesus name. Amen.
