Productivity Habits for High Flyers
Productivity Habits for High Flyers
-Take an interest in the outside world.
Recently I watched a short comedy clip where a man interviewed several people on the full meaning of Jamb. The first young lady said, Joint administration matriculation board’. As funny as it was, she wasn’t the only one who got it wrong.
Taking an interest in things outside our sphere helps us to develop ourselves for ourselves. It is first for our benefit rather than for the world’s benefit. You don’t have to be a news addict but by reading, listening, and interacting with others, you can be more informed and more knowledgeable.
Don’t live in a tiny bubble. Make it your mission to know what’s going on in other sectors like sports, food, tech, IT, transport, etc, so you can hold a conversation on pretty well everything and anything because you have an idea about them.
Poor leaders often depend on others for information about everything. Great leaders are often high flyers who are well-balanced and knowledgeable about most things. This is developed by taking a cognitive interest in what happens around them.
Together we win!
