STOP JUSTIFYING AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY
STOP JUSTIFYING AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY
Adam made a mistake. He ate the forbidden fruit. His first response when God spoke to him, was to blame the woman and also to blame God indirectly. The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” Gen 3:12.
So many times, we try to justify our actions by placing the blame on others. However, it doesn’t save us from the consequences of our actions.
The earlier we take responsibility for our decisions and actions, the better for us. You don’t have to go to that party if you don’t want to. Don’t be pressured to do anything against your will. It doesn’t matter who is involved. You owe yourself and God a moral responsibility to do what is right always.
As you progress into 2023, have a responsibility mindset.
– Think before you act.
– Weigh the consequences of your actions.
– Commit your actions and decisions to God.
– Step out in faith, believing God will guide you through the journey.
– “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose, ” Philippians 2:12 -13.
We see you winning.
God bless you.
