A LIFESTYLE OF INTEGRITY
A simple way to explain integrity will be to say that integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
Whilst we live in an ever-changing world, the never-changing Truth that can serve as the foundation for a lifestyle of integrity would be the Word of God.
So, therefore, just being morally upright today isn’t enough, because the boundaries of morality keep shifting to suit the whims and caprices of men’s bias.
Using the Life of JOSEPH as a case study.
A short background summary of the Life of Joseph would be…
Loved by his father
Hated by his brothers
The only evil he did to deserve this was that he shared his dream.
Almost killed by his brothers
Sold to slavery by the same
Fast forward, he was in a strange land
Favoured by God
Trusted by his Master
Enticed by His Master’s Wife and eventually lied upon by the same.
Notwithstanding, Joseph’s actions were guided by his faith in the truth of God’s Word, even in a strange land, away from his kindred.
In conclusion, a man who wants to build a lifestyle of integrity would be one who builds his life on the integrity of God’s Word.
Prayer: Today, I take deliberate steps to build my life on the never-changing Truth of God’s Word, even in this ever-changing world in Jesus Name…Amen!
