Qualities and attitudes that matter in a life partner (Success in Relationship Series)
Good qualities and attitudes are essential in every aspect of life, it also applies to relationships. When an individual lacks good qualities/attitudes in a relationship, such a relationship will not be productive and it will affect both partners negatively and they won’t be able to achieve the main purpose of a relationship.
There are qualities and attitudes that an individual must look out for before going into a relationship with someone. Sometimes some of us go into a relationship before we find out that our partner lacks good qualities and attitude that will enable both partners to build a relationship that paves way for mutual understanding, mutual respect, and mutual love.
WHY YOU MUST LOOK OUT FOR GOOD QUALITIES AND ATTITUDES IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP PARTNER.
-It will save you from prolonging arguments, disagreements and misunderstandings.
-It will enable the both of you to build a common ground for each other.
-It makes life worth living for both partners.
-It enables both partners to grow emotionally and physically.
-It creates a strong bond between partners.
Before you ask a lady out as a man and before you say yes to a guy as a woman make sure you look out for the following qualities and attitudes; I will list out a few because the following qualities and attitudes help strengthen a relationship.
As you look out for these qualities and attitudes make sure you also have them.
QUALITIES THAT MATTER IN A RELATIONSHIP;
-Godliness: One of the most important qualities you must look out for, is your partner’s relationship with God. He or She must have a stable and growing relationship with God.
-Communication: Communication is one quality that also matters because when both partners can’t communicate, there is no relationship.
-Commitment: A quality relationship requires commitment from both parties.
-Openness: Openness is also an indication of their interest in personal development and often contributes to the development of the relationship.
-Independence: Healthy partners don’t have to spend every minute with each other. It’s important to have a life outside of your relationship.
-Emotional intelligence: Make sure your partner has the ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of oneself and of others.
-Supportive: Every man needs support, just as a woman needs support, your partner must be able to support you financially if they can and also do house chores, etc.
ATTITUDES YOU MUST LOOK FOR IN A PARTNER
-Respect: make sure you both have mutual respect for each other.
-Honesty: Honesty builds a strong bond, make sure you look out for honesty.
-Integrity: look out for integrity, a partner with integrity will not use you to achieve their selfish interest.
-Forgiveness: Look out for forgiveness in a partner, a partner that does not forgive will only make your life a living hell.
-Empathy: Look out for empathy, empathy makes life a better place, it helps us not to judge each other but understand each other.
-Compassion: Your partner should be able to be aware and understand what you are going through deep inside of you, compassion helps create a strong bond.
-Kindness: kindness is a virtue, and anyone who shows kindness without being told can go to any length to make their partner happy.
-Emotional Stability: this is important, a partner must have emotional stability, he or she must be guided and not let emotion control them.
For a relationship to achieve its desired goal and vision good qualities and attitude must be in place, both partners need not be perfect, but good qualities and attitudes make a relationship looks perfect because it gives both partners the ability to make their relationship looks good and perfect.
NOTE: No Relationship can survive without good qualities and attitude, if you have been struggling to build a productive relationship and it is not working, I will advise you to access your Character and attitude in the relationship.
