RISE ABOVE THE OPINION AND LABEL OF OTHERS
Hannah was labeled a barren woman. Her inability to conceive gave her the name. Her co-wife, ‘Peninnah’ didn’t give her breathing space. She rubbed it in her face and provoked her daily until Hannah almost lost her mind.
What is that tag that men have placed on you?
What is that tag that circumstances have placed on you?
You can choose to rise above the tags, labels, and opinions of others. The negative opinion or treatment you get from others can actually push you into destiny, depending on your response to it. That was the case with Hannah. It pushed her into the temple to pray while others were dining and eating. She got her answers from the Lord.
Don’t wallow in tears or bitterness when people spite you. Go to your Heavenly Father in prayer like Hannah.
Dust yourself from the ashes and move on.
Rise up and go forward.
Your perception of yourself should not be determined by others.
Have a good sense of personal value and self-worth.
Don’t look down on yourself because someone looked down on you.
Never allow feelings of shame, depression, or despair to take over your life, because of the negative opinion of others.
Always remember, you are created for greatness and purpose.
Isaiah 8:18- Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.
