Vision is a powerful force—it gives purpose, direction, and clarity. But vision alone is not enough. It takes discipline—the consistent application of effort, focus, and self-control—to bring vision to life. Discipline is the fuel that turns vision into reality.
To understand this better, we’ll look at Daniel in the Bible—a young man whose disciplined life helped him fulfill divine purpose in a foreign land.
What is discipline?
Discipline is the ability to control oneself, make wise choices, and stay committed to a course of action—even when it’s difficult or inconvenient.

> “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat…”
He chose not to eat the king’s food, which would defile him.

Daniel maintained a consistent prayer life, even when it was illegal.
