CYMI School Outreach Program [Jos Chapter], Nigeria
CYMI Regional Coordinator for North Central and North- East Region, Mr. Ishaku Nenfort Bwangzum accompanied by a member of the initiative reached out to Excellence International Academy and Summit Secondary School, both in Tudun Wada, Jos on Thursday, 13th August 2021.
An exciting mentoring session was held at both schools to discuss and mentor the students on the topic, ‘the power of your choice’. The session was extensive covering the meaning of choices and seven guiding principles to making the right choices. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions on how they can make the right choices to guide them into becoming great and better individuals in the now and in the nearest future,
The school authorities were pleased and thanked the founder and the representatives of the initiative for reaching out to them, as notebooks were distributed to the students.
Students were also briefed on the ongoing essay competition and encouraged to participate. The total number of attendees in both schools was 102 students and 9 staff.
