The game that clearly depicts how essential team spirit is to a team is football. No matter how talented you are at the game, you cannot play without your team members. You cannot be the goalkeeper, striker, and defender all by yourself.
In like manner, no matter how good your heart is, it cannot replace your nose. Both are in the body to carry out different functions. However, they must work together for the well-being of the body. If the nose fails, the heart is at risk and if the heart fails, the nose is useless.
Therefore, team spirit is essentially about colleagues, partners, or members of a group learning how to work together for the overall benefit of the team and the organization.
For a team to succeed, its members should keep the following in mind;
-Team members should be willing to co-operate and work together.
-Team members should maintain a singular vision and purpose.
-Team members should be accountable to the team for its failure or success.
No matter how good you are, you cannot say you won if your team lost. Always remember that we win as a team or lose as a team.
