Words have energy and power with the ability to build, destroy, heal, hinder, help, hurt, harm, elevate or humiliate. When you repeatedly tell a child, you are stupid… Sooner or later, the child will start behaving dumb and acting stupidly. His mind has been programmed to accept that he is stupid.
In the early days, warriors who went to war used words to intimidate and instill fear into their enemies. During World War 2, it was reported that soldiers were encouraged to listen to pre-recorded messages designed to build their confidence and courage.
Be intentional about the words you speak and hear. They have the power to either build you up or bring you down. Speak the right words into your future. Stay in an atmosphere of hope, faith, and courage. The right words will channel your faith in the right direction and bring your dreams to reality.
